THIS PURCHASE INCLUDES:
• 100% Custom Logo Design
• Three initial design concepts to choose from
• Three rounds of revisions on your chosen concept

• All design files

Plan ahead! If you plan on providing me with photos and graphics, please make sure they are 300dpi. You are responsible for providing me with all the copy and imagery unless otherwise agreed upon.

CUSTOM DESIGN PROCESS:
1. I will send you a small questionnaire via email to learn about and better understand your business and logo needs.
2. Using your answers from the questionnaire as my guide, I will research your industry and competitors. I do this to ensure you get the best visual solution as possible.
3. You will receive 3 initial design concepts within 5-7 days. You choose 1 out of the 3 concepts.
4. If it is necessary, you will get 3 rounds of revisions on your 'approved' chosen concept.

If you need an additional CONCEPT after three, there will be an additional $25 fee.
If you need an additional REVISION after three, there will be an additional $15 fee.

NOTES:
This purchase is for design and digital files only. NO PRINTING is included, but I would be happy to suggest printers.

Please, check out the POLICY page (the answers to many questions can be found here)

Turnaround time is usually 5-7 business days, depending on my workload but often much faster. Please let me know if you have a specific deadline.

Common questions and things to be clear on:

1. What is a DESIGN CONCEPT?
A design concept (or comp) is visual ideas for your design. Based on information you provide, I design 3 concepts to present to you and explain the rationale behind each and why they will be successful. You can then tell me if we are on the right track or if we need to try a different direction. I rely heavily on the information, details (and examples!) you provide me in our conversations. If at any point in the design concept phase you or I feel that we are just not connecting, we both reserve the right to back out with a partial refund in the initial design concept phase.

2. What is a REVISION?
All of my designs offer revisions or 'rounds' of revisions within reason. So what is a revision? Put simply, it is a small change. Simple changes include font, content errors, colors, backgrounds, graphics, and layout. Requests to change wording, or position of a design element, delete an element, color change – these .are all acceptable revisions. If endless changes look like they might eat up the time, I will send a courtesy note letting you know so you have a chance to gather your thoughts, and consider purchasing some additional design time.

WHAT A REVISION IS NOT: Revision does not mean start over three times, so we have three complete designs to choose from. In the event that none of the initial design concepts fit your liking, I most likely will offer you either additional choices (at my expense) or offer a refund if I think we aren’t connecting.

3. PLAN AHEAD and be prepared to MAKE DECISIONS!
I could make design concepts all day with them all looking good and none of them be what you expected. Design offers unlimited possibilities! It is much better to make clear choices working WITH my client. I ask a lot of questions and I may show you some examples or ideas and I hope that you will share with me your inspirations too! Your involvement is key in the design process.

4. WHAT IF YOU DISAPPEAR MIDWAY THROUGH A PROJECT?
Life happens...I understand! I have unforeseen circumstances rise out of my control sometimes too. If you know you are having a baby, or taking a vacation, just let me know. You will stay on my schedule before your 'leave' and be put back on my schedule when you 'return'. If you suddenly get sick, your computer crashes and you cant let me know your intentions - that’s understandable too but the best I can do is work you in at my earliest convenience to finish our project.

WHAT IF I DISAPPEAR MIDWAY THROUGH A PROJECT: It t my ultimate goal to never leave you deserted on a project. However life does happen. Should I need to stop a project midway through design, I will provide you the design files as-is, and fully refund your purchase.

5. What is a LOGO?
A Logo is a branding for a company. Ideally, your logo should leave a memorable impression so that when people see it (again) they automatically associate it to your business. However many of my clients begin without a logo. And that is ok - you can still start your projects - but if the listing you purchased does not include a logo design, I am not designing one! I will choose a font for your name, and possibly a little embellishment, but this is NOT an attempt at a logo. It's just your name.
Please don’t “nit-pic” your 'name' and ask for 15 revisions of the font part to the point you feel its a good 'logo' and then ask me for supportive files for it in 3 different sizes and two different colors! If you need a logo and want to spend the time creating one, then please purchase a logo design.

6. PRINTING AND SIZES
Do you already know where you will be printing your project? Do you know what sizes you need? Are you planning to buy blank ones and print yourself? Are you planning to take a local print shop? Will you be using Avery templates? These are VERY IMPORTANT things I need to know up front about your project.
From the designers end, there is a BIG difference in how the design is laid out and the file is set up. Usually professionally printed designs require a bleed area - which makes the file up to 1/4" bigger than the size needed, while home printed designs can be just a wee bit over if not the same size.

If you don’t know where you are getting things printed, I would be happy to suggest some good printers and resources.

7. PROJECT DEADLINES
I want to be able to give each client personalized time and devotion and create the best designs possible without feeling overwhelmed. Please plan ahead. If you know you have a show next month, NOW is the time to get something designed! It might take me 1-2 weeks for the design and the printer another week or two.

8. COMMUNICATION
One of the most important parts of successful design and the biggest reason for delay in design progress is lack of communication! If you are using a cell phone or ipad to reply to emails, please watch for auto-correct changing your words. Also, please try to be as specific as possible!!! More detail is better.

9. UNDERSTANDING COLORS!
In the design world there are different modes of color depending on the project you are designing. Web graphics use RGB and HEXADECIMAL, while print jobs use CMYK or PANTONE colors. Please don’t rely on your email preview for color approval. Since email is RGB, so is everything attached in preview! If you download the attachments I send first, then open them in a viewer, the proper color mode is retained.

10. THERE IS NEVER A DUMB QUESTION
Please don’t hesitate to ask me anything through our time working together. This is your project and I am here to make it happen in a fun and most stress less way possible for you.
