You are buying ONE of these great vintage items. You get one of a random color. Color may be or may not be the colors shown in the sample photos.

Although many young men came back from WWII and began building/buying homes and quickly
became able to spend money on luxuries, some children still played with these simple plastic
vehicles. The original boxes we have are marked in black wax crayon PLASTIC TOWN. There is
another famous maker who made items marked PLASTICVILLE but these seem to be more rare
since less people had these more primitive vehicles (plastic form). Unmarked and made in the

Open bottom and hollow. The "tires" are just half moon plastic molded into the vehicle and not an
actual moving tire. Very primitive. These sold for 3-5 cents each according to the person I know
who used to play with these types of vehicles. Sometimes they were sold out of those candy jars in
the candy/hardware store alongside candy. Kids begged their parents to get them a truck with their
penny truck. A 100 vehicle box originally cost the retailer about $0.70 a box! Wow! That's

We have five different designs. You are getting one like the photo above and listed in the main

Some have minor openings in the plastic but I will send nice quality and collectible ones and throw
out those that are damaged. The cuts in the windows or other openings are not crisp and/or
straight but these are minor imperfections. Expect these minor imperfections but nothing drastic or
open where they should not be open. Out of a case of 100, we throw out about 20-30. What is left
may be one or two of each color of each design. Some colors we have found are clear, brown, tan,
orange, pink, green and olive.

Yours will be a random color unless you message me PRIOR to buying. If you wait then I cannot
promise we will have that color left.

From what I have been told, these almost NEVER made it to modern times since these are hard
brittle plastic and they break when kids step or adults step on them.

I am running all 5 designs and if you buy all 5, I will mix the colors as much as posible.

Same if you buy less than 5. I will try not to duplicate the colors.

These were in the old Red & White Groceries across small-town America in the 1950s.
