I'm hoping to add more photos once finished, but I wanted to show others that we added linoleum to the floor for easier cleaning. We called our local Mom and Pop Shop to give them some business, and they graciously gave us the piece for our chicken coop. We'll bring them eggs once the girls start producing :) Just an optional idea to share 💖

We ordered the plans, then waited until a big box store finally had their 11% off before purchasing wood needed to make the chicken house. We ordered the hardware and windows from Amazon like plans recommended. My son did the entire chicken coop by himself and said that the plans were very easy to follow. He added a roofed chicken run and raised the house and put wire around the entire bottom so that the hens will have a place to scratch and get out of the sun and heat. Now we need chickens, which are in a very short supply in our state. Our hens will have the upgraded penthouse version of chicken coops, some day!🤞🥴 Don’t be afraid to purchase these plans. Easy to follow instructions. BTW-total cost for the entire coop was around $1,500.
