Shipping policies
In an effort to be kind to our planet and our resources, I reuse and recycle boxes, and use a minimal amount of packing material while packing your items as securely as possible. If you are giving your purchased item as a gift, please let me know and I will do my best to package it accordingly. I am happy to include a note and or gift wrap your item. In the event that your item is damaged through shipping, please photograph the items and let me know as soon as possible at MyMarketTales [!at] gmail.com.
Your items will ship within 3-5 business days after payment is received (and unless I am out of the area, I will typically ship in 1 to 2 days).
I mostly use US Post Office (USPS) Priority Mail, which will include delivery confirmation and insurance. For larger, bulkier items, I will use USPS Parcel Post, FedEx Ground (Home Delivery) or UPS -- United Parcel Service ground service.
Post Office Parcel Post, FedEx and UPS Ground can take a week or more for shipments to the East Coast. If time is an issue, please convo me and I will research the best and most economical way to ship your items.
Your orders are shipped from Central California. If you live in the West Coast, your items may ship for less, so do contact me and we can check if a reduced shipping cost is possible, before your purchase --- or if I can provide a better rate by combining items to ship to you. Sales tax is charged for addresses shipping only within California.
*** Please note the shipping prices are for the Continental USA only --- if you live in Alaska or Hawaii, or sending a gift to someone in Alaska or Hawaii, there will most likely be additional shipping costs. Please do contact me so I can adjust the shipping charge accordingly and reserve the item for you. ***
