I love working with this beautiful exotic wood, it's called 'Niangon' and it has such wonderful grain and a lovely reddish/brown colour throughout.

i have done a few lights from this wood now, but nothing quite as intricate as this, i have made it totally by hand, by myself- from tree to table!

i love the idea of the LEDs being totally hidden inside the wood, unless you look from underneath you would never know they were even there!, i have very discretely installed LEDs in the top few sections of this lamp, but all you can see when you look at it is a beautiful wooden spiral!.....
the LEDs are bright but give a lovely warm glow (rather than the super 'pure white') and really light up the wood itself as well as around the lamp.

i have purposely left the wood totally natural as i don't think it needs anything else, the brand new LEDs should never need replacing, they can work from any mains voltage so it will work in any country, the power supply and everything is included, all you may need is to change the plug top to suite your country (i only have EU and USA style).
