The honey-combed smocking detail on this little knit hat pattern looks difficult to knit, but it’s got a sweet little secret: It’s not! If you can knit and purl, you can knit this hat!

This classically-inspired hat pattern is designed to fit a 6-12 month old baby, but could easily be adapted for other sizes; just be sure to cast on in a multiple of 6 plus 2.

Stitches used:
k knit
p purl
k2tog knit two together
p2tog purl two together

Gauge: 16 sts and 26 rows in a 4x4 inch square, using size 4 needles. Save time & check your gauge. 

Materials:
Sizes 4 and 8, 16 inch circular needles
Size 8 double pointed needles for decreasing
Stitch marker
Darning needle for weaving in ends
Hat pictured was knit using Crafter’s Secret Yarn in the color Fabulous, in size 4 and 8, 12-inch circular needles.

Due to the nature of handmade/made-to-order items, all sales are final, with no refunds or returns. Make sure to read the product information before purchase to make an informed buying decision. It's my desire that you're completely satisfied!

In the rare case of a defective item, I'll gladly send you a replacement. Let's put things to right!

If you wish to return a defective item:

1) Notify me within three days of receiving the item.
2) Send me the item, and once it's here, I'll make it right, and send it back, free of charge.
3) Defective item must be received in new, unworn condition.
