Description

Why hide the cracks when you can make them beautiful?

From The Netherlands (home of ceramic delftware) comes this innovative product. With the New Kintsugi Repair Kit, you not only get to salvage that beloved chipped or broken ceramic plate, but you also get to reinvigorate it with this gorgeous gold filler.
The ancient Japanese art of kintsugi, which means “golden joinery”, is all about turning ugly breaks into beautiful fixes - proposing that repair can make things better than new.

So how does it work? A gold dust is mixed with an adhesive. Then you simply use the gold adhesive to fix the cracks and/or breaks! Then wait 48 hours for the adhesive to set and your previously-broken piece is ready to use again.

To retain the gold colour it is not advised to place items in the dishwasher.
(Can make 6+ plates similar to the first photo)

It's also available in silver. :)

*Last photo shows kit packaging for postal orders.

Also featured on uber popular DIY Blogs: Fall for DIY, the Woman's Room, Plumetis Magazine and Hearthandmade have a look at it in action! :)

And for a limited time only, on display at the Rijks Museum (National Museum) in Amsterdam.

If i could give it no stars i would, i normally don't rate an item or give a review; but i want to keep someone else from wasting their money. The problem i had is not even the fact that i couldn't track my item or that it took forever to get here, my issue had to do with what i received. the gold dust was sprinkled on everything, so it spilled. no brush, the person advertise this as a kit inside a white box. no white box, just glitter, glue, gloves and sticks. this is what i received, i can't believe this cost me with shipping $40. I pretty disappointed, i feel i was scammed. i can't believe someone would send this to people, you would never have repeat customers.
