Description

“’You see, we lost the Entwives. . . . We lost them and we cannot find them.’ He sighed. ‘I thought most folks knew that. There were songs about the hunt of the Ents for the Entwives sung among Elves and Men from Mirkwood to Gondor. They cannot be quite forgotten. . . When the world was young, and the woods were wide and wild, the Ents and the Entwives . . . walked together and they housed together. But our hearts did not go on growing in the same way . . .'” - J. R. R. Tolkein, The Lord of the Rings

This Entwife is from the days when Middle Earth was young and Ents and Entwives lived together, before they parted ways. She stands 16.5 inches tall; at the base of her feet (or roots?) she is 7 inches wide. Her skirt can spread to 16 inches from side to side and 12 inches front to back. Her limbs, head, and torso are moveable so that her poses can be changed—but bear in mind that she is not a toy, and will do best with only small adjustments of position.

Materials: polymer clay, Apoxy Sculpt ™ , merino wool, tulle, armature wire, aluminum foil, glue, acrylic paint, polyurethane varnish.

While other Entwives may emerge from my studio from time to time, each one is a unique OOAK creation. There will be no other Entwife like this one.

I ship by USPS, either First Class Mail or Priority, depending on the size of the package. Maryland residents will have 6% sales tax added.
