Description

Saturday's child works hard for a living"-that is why he needs a good rest at the end of the week. He is relaxing against the base of a stump from Cairn Ridge. He symbolizes leisure (maybe even retirement!) and the snail behind him sets the pace. The Moroccan coin is to get him dreaming about faraway places. The bird footprint on the bottom of his shoes will aid him in his flights of fancy.

He was re-signed by Dr. Clark and he was retired in 1989.

He is less than 4 3/4 inches tall and his base is about 4 inches long.

In excellent condition.

Copyright 1983, his edition number is 71.

Dr. Clark hand sculpts each gnome from clay, the figure is then fired and a mold is made. The figures are then hand cast using a special resin that includes crushed pecan shells, and wood chips. Each is then hand-painted, hand-stained, and hand-lacquered.

Please convo me if you have any questions.

My parents were huge fans, attending almost every signing when Dr. Clark was in state for years. I have inherited several hundred gnomes, some of which are duplicates in my own small collection. All of these guys that I am listing are in mint condition. If you are looking for one in particular please convo me.
