Description

My designer skirt pattern is easy, flattering for girls and versatile.

No pattern pieces to print out! You get to make your own pattern with just a large piece of paper, a piece of string, and a pencil.

This swingy, circle type skirt can be made with a single or double layer.

It sits smoothly at the waist,is easy to put on, due to the side zip and has a partially elasticated waist band to make it comfortable, especially for the smaller sizes.

Hems are finished with no fuss narrow zig zag that helps the edges to look lovely and frilly.

The underskirt fabrics should be a lightweight cotton, plain or patterned and the over-skirt a sheer fabric, cotton, chiffon or organza, also with or without prints.

Play with combining different patterns and fabrics for interesting effects.

If made from a single layer, which is a great choice for everyday skirts, it is even easier to make.

Or extend the pattern (easy to do) and make a maxi skirt instead!

The optional appliqué flowers make it extra special, great for birthday girls or bridesmaids.

Instructions include step by step sewing guide, appliqué templates and a diagram on how to draw the circle sections.
