I used all the Americana fabrics I had at the time to create this lovely piece. There are 9 large 18" blocks that make up the quilt. Notice the backing detail fabric. It is one that I have used on the Quilts of Valor quilts I have donated to the soldiers coming home from Iraq. It is a fitting tribute to their bravery and sacrifice. It could also be used as a bed quilt.
As always, this quilt is made from cotton fabrics and batting and machine quilted with cotton thread. I used a varigated red, white, and blue thread for this one. Some of the fabrics have a little bit of sparkle on them-especially the fireworks fabric. Give it "a bit of blinge". The quilt measures 72"x72".
