ClockDock for Apple Watch

So now you are living in the future with your shiny new Apple Watch, but you miss the good old days when an alarm clock was well, just an alarm clock. No problem, go ahead and be all Dick Tracy by talking to your wrist to set an alarm. Then, when you wake up groggy, just mash that big snooze button and get back to sleep!

When Apple released watchOS 2 it had a new feature called Nightstand Mode. When the watch is charging the face becomes an alarm clock and the 2 buttons on the watch become the stop and snooze buttons. The ClockDock makes the transformation complete! Just put your watch in the dock to charge overnight, then in the morning don't fumble around trying to find those tiny buttons. The large "bells" become the snooze and off buttons, and make it alarmingly simple it is to use.

I've been playing with the new feature and it works great! The easiest way to do it is to set the alarm using Siri from your watch. When the alarm goes off the snooze button is on the left, and the off button is on the right. Just press the bell-buttons and get back to sleep, or get your _ _ _ _ out of bed!

ClockDock is small and easy to pack when traveling!

ClockDock comes completely assembled, you just need to attach the charging cable that came with your Apple Watch. The cord snaps into place, and it only takes a second. It works great with both 42mm and 38mm Apple watch sizes.

Some of the parts for this item are 3D printed, if you have ever seen 3D printed parts (of the FDM variety like a MakerBot part) you already know they are not perfect. They are strong, but sometimes you can see textures on the parts that are there because of the way they are made. I've taken great care to design my parts to take advantage of the printer's strengths, while keeping the imperfections to a minimum. In some cases I've even found ways to make the textures part of the design. Just consider the machine marks to be a natural sign of the human element, like when you buy any hand made product.
