Vintage Visions. Some brooches make a bold statement in a deceptively simple way. This single leaf brooch is one of those. Gleaming gold plate covers this delicately patterned leaf the full 3-1/2 inches of its length.

The back of this brooch has given me many, MANY hours of research as I have never yet seen a pin mechanism quite like it. The pin, hinge, catch and mounting plate are removable. The mechanism is stamped "Pat. Pend." and there is a single number "1" stamped on the reverse. The only other pin of this type I have found is a Seal Crest pin, and I wonder if the signature is hiding underneath the pin back. No way to tell for certain.

The one thing I DO know is that this beautiful, stylish accessory will provide a bold yet classic statement to any lapel.

I will ship this your way the next business day via USPS insured first class mail with a tracking ID number.
