See below for a review of this pattern:

"The sleeves on this frock were a dream to put in. I loved the darts in the sleeve head. All the points lined up and the instructions were very clear. Altogether a fun and remarkably easy pattern. I had a moment of panic doing the collar, but it's a very clever way to do a self facing. I didn't understand the little rabbit ear that formed the collar back because I had never encountered anything like it before. Once I joined the shoulder seams it was easy."

Pattern shipped out so fast! The paper for the pattern is perfect--I've ordered from other reproduction pattern companies that use a heavier paper. I’m a pattern tracer, but I definitely prefer to avoid it when I can. VPLL uses a paper that can be pinned like tissue but is more substantial. The pattern itself is wonderful. Not too many pieces and construction itself is fast, though there are a few details that benefit from making a muslin for practice and fit. Don’t skip the muslin! I reached out to Deirdre regarding the fit issue I was having, and she was so helpful and encouraging! I could write paragraphs on how pleased I am--unfortunately there’s a character limit! I HIGHLY recommend ordering from Deirdre and VPLL!! I will be coming here in the future for all my reproduction pattern needs! Likely very soon :)

Just gorgeous! I cut this paper pattern last night and was thrilled with the quality of the paper--not too heavy, not too light (picky detail, I know, but I like good paper for patterns). It is clear and easy-to-read. Also, the seller could not be sweeter!! This is my new favorite pattern source. :)

Well I am VERY happy with how this turned out. A really flattering shape and style. I'm a 38" bust, not 36" so had to learn how to enlarge patterns. Easy to follow instructions and great communication with seller. 5* all round!

Love love LOVE this pattern! I made it out of 100% cotton in a 30's feedsack print. It's so comfortable I decided to make another one so I can live in these all summer.
