Description

An authentic Vermont, U.S State quarter dollar domed coin was used for this necklace. The quarter was dated 2001. There is a beautiful image a man working in the midst of trees on this coin along with the words "Freedom and Unity". After I drilled the coin, I domed, cleaned, and polished it. This is truly a unique piece of coin jewelry. The quarter hangs from a stainless steel ball chain secured by a connector.

Although Vermont is the quarter coin pictured, there are other states available using the drop-down menu at checkout: Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin

In 1999 the United States started minting quarters for the 50 State Quarters Program. This initiative continued through 2009. All states of the United States were celebrated on individual quarters. The images on the coin highlight special features about the state. The designs are beautifully rendered. Since the state quarters will never be minted again, they are collectible. Read more about it by using this link http://www.usmint.gov/mint_programs/50sq_program/?action=designs_50sq.ption

A unique gift for many reasons.

The circulated quarter is 15/16 inch (24mm) in diameter and in excellent condition. It is suspended by a sturdy ring from a 30 inch (76.2cm) stainless steel ball chain and connector.

The chain can be shortened upon request by leaving a 'Message to Seller' indicating the length you desire.

If you would like a different state, just ask. I might have it in my stash.
