Description

A pair of 1950's cook booklets from the Reynolds Metals Company, makers of Reynolds Wrap. Includes recipes, cooking tips and all of the many ways to use aluminum foil.

All of your questions are answered --- including "Will Reynolds Wrap catch fire in the oven?"

And did you know that wrapping fresh flower stems or putting crumpled foil in the vase will keep flowers fresher longer and keep the water clean?

• "Preparing Foods with Reynolds Wrap Pure Aluminum Foil"

• 'How to use Reynolds Wrap, Recipes for everything, Outdoor Cooking, Food Freezing, Food Storage and Range Hints'
• 9" by 6" / 23 Cm by 150 Cm
• 34 pages

• "Casual Cooking"
• 'Timely tips for the weekend chef, cook in the foil or on the foil, campfire cooking, menu magic, cooking game and fish, and time-saving, work-saving uses'
• 7 1/2" by 5" / 19 Cm by 13 Cm
• 15 pages

Both booklets are in excellent vintage condition - no rips or tears; slight creasing on Casual Cooking; from my pet and smoke free home.

☺ PONY PEARL: In the 1950's, the generic term for all types of foil wrap was 'tin foil'.
