Here we have a beautiful patchwork ticker tape throw, raw edged throw.
Would look nice to use on the end of a single bed, used as a chair throw, to drape over a blanket box or a lap blanket.
This is a unique piece of needlework, no two are ever the same due to the random nature of the pieces used.
Ticker tape throws are randomly sewn pieces of fabric with the raw edges visible so it gives you a unique look.
There is aprox 200 fabric pieces all sewn on the machine.
I try not to use the same pattern next to each other to give it variety.
The size is 27" x 37.5".
The throw is 100% cotton.
Sewn onto cream Laura Ashley plain cotton front and back. The back is plain.
The colours are varying shades of blue and grey with accents of pink and red.
machine washable @ 30c, warm tumble dry.
After washing it you will need to carefully trim off the excess thread as it frays, this is quite normal, in fact the more it frays the prettier it looks.
This throw has been fully laundered, nicely frayed, and ready to use.
