Pattern is well explained with visuals but finished cap has many exposed raw edges, making it look shoddy.

I love how simple this pattern is! I am a visual kind of gal so the picture tutorial was perfect for me to follow!! The first hat took me a little longer to sew but once I made it and got a feel for it, the second hat took maybe 20 minutes from start to finish. I did finish all the seams with my Serger and tacked the ribbon in place at the front so it won’t come out in the wash. My friend absolutely loves them too!

It's a good basic pattern. I altered how I sewed it together a bit so there would be less cut sides of the fabric open. I also top stitched the curved seam to keep it smooth and I didn't zigzag the band seam but double stitched that for a smoother look.
