"The Journey of Tsarevich Ivan and Princess Elena" is the tenth plate in the Porcelain Collector Plate series entitled “The Russian Legends of the Firebird. Inspired by the age old Russian legend of the quest for a bird as brilliant as fire.

produced in layers of pigments and 18K gold on hard fire porcelain in an edition limited to a maximum of 195 firing days

In original box with paperwork including Certificate of Authenticity . . . only opened to take photos . . . . descriptive leaflet has some age appropriate edge yellowing

measures 7 1/2" (19 cm) in diameter with holes in the plates base for wall hanging

artist: Anatoly V. Vlezko

crafted by the Master Artists of Lomonosov Porcelain in Leningrad, Russia
