Sunset Junction

Sunset Junction is located in the Silver Lake district of Los Angeles, California. In 1967, Sunset Junction was the site of the Black Cat Tavern protest, one of the first actions in the nation against police harassment of patrons in gay bars (more than two years before the Stonewall riots in New York).

Today, Silver Lake is an important part of Los Angeles's alternative music scene, and is also home to some of L.A.'s most well-known graffiti and street artists. Silver Lake continues to be an LGBT-friendly neighborhood with several long-standing venues, and Sunset Junction is the hub of this very artistic community.

This is a print of my original art work made with black plastic tape. It is printed on the Canson classic French paper with "vellum" texture on the top side. It is a heavy, 98 lb (160 gsm) sheet, with a high rag content (66%) to ensure long life without deterioration. The paper is colored in the pulp to be highly light-resistant and acid-free.

This print is signed, printed with a border and matted.

All prints are very carefully packaged in perfect condition.

Multiple orders from different listings to the SAME ADDRESS WITHIN 12 HOURS will be charged a single shipping fee. I will refund the additional shipping fees.

After viewing Chiho's amazing art in person at a recent gallery pop-up, this piece was a natural fit for my So Cal motif wall. I love it!

A delightful calendar--well designed, small but easy to read, colorful, whimsical, perfect for a small space. I have mine hanging from a wire line above my computer monitor. Simply perfect for my needs and is uplifting at the same time! A real find. I will stay with this artist. She is personable and caring; messaged me several times.
