Description

This print uses a poem by Leslie Harrison. This is a print that combines brush illustrations I've made with a graphic illustration that combines an illustration of a hand with a vintage scan of a tree. The paper used was made by a small mill in Montreal - Saint Armand. It's from a line named Canal. The surface is called Moss and was chosen for its lively surface that has embedded in it tiny pieces of leaves and moss.

Many thanks goes to the poet for letting me borrow this beautiful poem and to Sandy Tilcock of lone goose press, whose knowledge and experience made brought my visual ideas to life.

Like all the prints in this series, they are printed in a limited edition and signed by the poet. They are all 10 by 14 inches, either vertical or horizontal, depending on the design. This series is truly a collector's edition produced to commemorate the Tuolumne Meadows Poetry Festival in Yosemite National Park. All profits from the sale of this print will be donated to support this ongoing event.

Print will be shipped in a clear archival sleeve, in sturdy photo mailer via US Postal Service unless other arrangements are made.

Tea, poetry, art, letterpress--a perfect combination.

It is a well done, beautiful piece and feel honored to have it in our house. The fires and orange skies are offset by looking at the Hawks and offers us a restorative feeling to our world.

Amazing broadsides! They came quickly and stayed dry even though it was pouring rain when they were delivered. I’d highly recommend.
