Somewhere along the line I became old, with nephews and grandkids and a penchant for being boring and telling the same stories over and over again. Yep, old. But gaming is ageless, and having access to a CNC makes for a great combination, so I set out to find a cribbage board I could make. And I found it here on CNCPatterns. The purchase was simple, as are all Etsy purchases, and I received my file download link almost immediately. I am very new at woodworking and CNC'ing is complicated, but I have never tried to run a GCODE file to cut a CNC project, and I ran into problems. I tried to figure it out myself and with the help of Google, but I was getting nowhere, so I decided to reach out to the owner of CNCProjects, Mac Wolgamott. He got back to me very quickly, and not only did he gladly help me resolve my issues, he was gracious about it and even offered me some helpful tips to take me further in my quest for woodworking knowledge and pretty-fying my projects. So I was able to make my cribbage board easily after Mac's help, and it turned out Beautifully! Now, whenever I see the boredom glaze forming over my young - or old - relatives faces, I can break out my very handsome cribbage board and make it all good again!
