Description

Originally meant as a Mardi Gras costume for young ladies, many customers purchase this for Halloween goings-on!
This pattern includes pieces for the wings, corset bodice, flounced skirt, gloves, polonaise and fichu in size set A fitting 33" to 39" bust, 22" to 28" waist, 33" to 39" hip) or size set B fitting 41" to 45" bust, 28" to 30" waist, 39" to 41" hip, check options in this listing.

Construction details and photos may be seen on my blog here: http://evadress.blogspot.com/2010/07/bat-crinoline-progress.html

This pattern does NOT include pieces for the crinoline or optional bustle pad. I have given recommendation in the yardage chart for sourcing patterns for these parts.
This is an advanced pattern as it is very technically challenging. Technical abilities are required in corset-making, mitering double or single bias binding, knife-pleating, armature, draping and glove-making.

All of my patterns come full size on 18-lb translucent bond paper and in stock as I print them on demand. This bond paper is sturdy enough that it doesn't tear like pattern tissue, yet it is light enough to see and cut through easily enough. Each pattern comes in a 10x13 zip-loc for protection, as shown in photo.

Celebrating OVER 15 years of bringing accurately reproduced vintage patterns!
