Handmade wedding shoes from Afghanistan. These are hand stitched turquoise/green leather uppers with hand embroidery on the top in reds, yellows creams and oranges with metal studs. The soles are leather, also the approx. 2" stacked heels are in leather. They are wearable made for a woman, would also fit a man making them a great form of wearable Art although not very comfortable, one would just have to ‘wear them in’. They would be a great addition to a beautiful Ethnic Art or Ethnic Footwear collection. Unsure of actual age but could be at least 50 - 60 years old. Sizing equivalent to woman 10.
