Description

Welcome to Digital Nails! I'm a self-proclaimed polish-aholic and my love for creating my own polishes bloomed from a fun hobby for myself into this shop!

This listing is for a 15ml bottle of Follow the Water.

This nail polish is part of our ongoing Scientist series!

"Follow the Water" is a phrase in the science community that conveys the idea that" if we are looking for signs of life outside of Earth, we should look for planets/moons/etc. that have liquid water". We know now that there are organisms that can thrive in environments previously thought too hostile, such as liquid methane, deep sea vents, and others, but for the most part, water is essential to life. For example - the work we are doing on Mars right now revolves entirely around this premise! As we expand our knowledge of what exactly "life" is defined as, water is ever-present.

Now, how does this relate to this polish? The formula! Water is h2o, this means that there are two hydrogen atoms for every oxygen atom. These atoms bond together to form water molecules! I represented the water molecule in that I have used the same ratio of two different glitters, one representing hydrogen, and the other oxygen in a base color that is reminiscent of the ocean. It's simple, but complex and beautiful. Just like its namesake, it is a chameleon and looks different on every skin tone and in different lighting. It leans green on me, but blue on others!

Swatches courtesy of Ida from Ida Nails It and Crystal from The Polish Plebe!

In the case of stuffed plush, all repairs are fully covered for the first year, return your item to me & I will repair it and send it back to you within a reasonable amount of time. Thank you!

Shipping policies

I ship USPS First Class with tracking numbers for all domestic packages under 13 oz. For everything over 13oz, I use Priority Mail.

I do not ship overseas. As a small business, I cannot afford to replace or refund any packages that may be lost in transit or destroyed by customs. Lost packages happen. It has been my experience in the past and if a package cannot be completely tracked to the destination, I do not feel comfortable sending it. I do hope you understand my position on this matter, and I will not make exceptions.
