The Shema Israel mezuzah has the letters of the words engraved on 3 sides, in the round. The Shema Israel prayer is what is written on the klaf (prayer scroll) that goes inside the mezuzah and it is the central prayer of the Jewish religion which proclaims the monotheistic belief of Judaism.

Each mezuzah is made in our Ithaca, NY studio and does not come with a klaf (the prayer scroll). You must purchase the klaf separately. The scroll size that fits this mezuzah is 2.5” (less than 3”).

The mezuzah is acrylic and can be used on both an exterior or interior door, as the material will not change with any weather exposure. The top is open, making easy access for klaf placement.

There are two holes for nails so that you can securely attach the mezuzah to any doorway. Each mezuzah case comes with two nails. If you have a metal framed doorway, you can use strong double sided tape instead.

These measure 4.5” tall, but the box is 3” tall, 3/4” wide, and 5/8” deep. You can use a 2.5” klaf for the best fit.

Yes! If there is something you would like stamped on a piece that
currently incorporates stamping (ex: cuff bracelets, custom moon jewelry, inhale, exhale pieces) please let me know and I am
happy to accommodate. I have a wide range of stamps (letters and
symbols) so we can definitely create something that speaks to you.
Stamping can be done on different sized pieces of jewelry and on many
different types of metal (copper, aluminum, brass, silver, rose gold
fill, gold fill). I make every piece from scratch so pretty much
everything can be customized for you!

I recommend storing unworn jewelry in a sealed plastic bag or
container. Never keep your jewelry in the bathroom as humidity speeds
up the tarnishing of all metals. All metals do tarnish but don't worry
- all metals can also be cleaned and brought back to their shining
beauty! The most versatile method for cleaning all metals (and the
method that I prefer using on my jewelry) is to rub the metal with dry
000 or 0000 steel wool. It is important to use only this fine grade
steel wool so that it won't scratch the metal - DO NOT use rougher
steel wool! You can find fine grade steel wool at hardware stores. If
you want more tips, please ask and I am happy to help!
