Poly Styrene, born Marianne Joan Elliott-Said (July 3, 1957 – April 25, 2011) was a British musician and front woman for the 1970's punk band X-Ray Spex. Described as the "archetype for the modern-day feminist punk"; because she wore dental braces, stood against the typical sex object female of 1970s rock star, sported a gaudy Dayglo wardrobe, and was of mixed race. She was "one of the least conventional front-persons in rock history, male or female" and possessed a powerful, bold, and fiercely feminine voice.

The Feminist Alphabet Series is an ongoing art project of limited edition silkscreened apparel & prints designed to celebrate inspirational and important women in the world.

(S is for Simone de Beauvoir & A is for Audre Lorde designs sold separately)

Each item is handprinted using a silkscreen technique. This printing method produces unique, one of a kind items that may differ slightly between products.
