At the end of every summer, a regional aviation publication included with its regular monthly edition, a special issue for subscribers only: the swimsuit edition. It featured pretty girls in sexy swimsuits posing on, in, and around airplanes. The edition was eagerly awaited by some, and frowned on by others. And although the publication itself was geared toward regional happenings, it reached subscribers throughout the US and around the world.

Every year, we made our photo shoot an event in itself and were invited to hold the shoot at a number of airports where we were given access to a wide variety of classic aircraft that included not only the 1943 Boeing A75N1 PT17 Stearman featured in this poster, but also the famous Cannibal Queen that starred in a later shoot.

Lots of photos, lots of fun, lots of great memories... those were the days!

Printed on heavyweight glossy finish 100 lb. poster stock. Photographed at Hampton Airfield, Hampton, NH.

Size: 17-3/8 high x 17-1/2" wide
