September 15, 1922 Germany
Tausend Mark

Vintage WWI or WWII Era

This banknote was issued from Berlin on September 15, 1922.

I believe that this might be the period in Germany just before Hitler came into power and seized Germany.

I am amazed at the extensive amount of detail in the front and back lettering, and the colours used in creating this banknote.

This banknote is sadly not in very good condition - as you can see from the photos it has been torn in half.

Size of both pieces together is approximately 6 1\/2 x 3 1\/2 inches (8.9 x 16.5cm)

PLEASE NOTE: This piece of money has been torn in 2 pieces. Sad, but true. I did not attempt to tape or repair.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: After I took my photos, I found another half of one of these banknotes. It is the half that has the serial number. It will be included with this one.

Please convo me if you have any additional questions.
