Description

I will happily cake your dyedianadye yarn for a few dollars - the price depends on the weight of your skein. If you choose the gift bag option, I'll fold a coordinating origami crane, wrap the crane and skein together in a clear cellophane bag, and tie it all up with a pretty raffia bow. They make wonderful gifts for your knitting friends. Or yourself!

If the number of cakes you order doesn't match the number of skeins you purchase, please note in your order which skeins you'd like caked and/or gift bagged.

Thank you for visiting!

International orders are shipped using USPS First Class International Mail plus Insurance and may take from 2-4 weeks to arrive.

If you prefer that I not insure your shipment, please convo me as soon as you place your order (or in the order notes), and let me know. I will refund your excess shipping cost when your order is packed and labeled for shipment. Insurance is typically $1 for every $100 + portion domestically and $1.25 for international shipments. For example, if your order totals to $115, you pay $2 in the US and $2.50 everywhere else.

65% Tussah Silk, 35% Linen, in light fingering/heavy lace weight at 756y/691m/4oz. Wild silk and fluffy linen, rustic, with a matte finish, very soft for linen, knits up light as air and holds a block beautifully. TL is not strong enough to be used as a warp in weaving. Spun in Canada.
:: Note: TL is very toothy and notoriously tricky to cake!
If you're concerned about doing it yourself, I recommend you order "cake yarn(fing/lace)" @ $3 per when you purchase. *I'm not saying this to get rich, either, or I'd definitely charge more. https://www.etsy.com/listing/247281984/yarn-caked-and-optionally-gift-bagged-an
