Description

December Birthday Stone - A unique pair of wire-wrapped flower pendant earrings made of turquoise beads and jewelry wire. This timeless design can cross many cultures depending on which metal wire is used. The silver shown in these pictures has the energy of the Southwest and the Native Americans, while the gold wire speaks of Egyptian and South American - Aztec - Mayan cultures.

The flower pendant measures approx. 1" in diameter (28mm) and the overall length including the handmade ear wires is approx. 1 3/4" (45mm).

This same design is also available in clear crystal as Moon Goddess Earrings:

The birthstone for December, Turquoise was popular in ancient Egypt, China and Aztec cultures. It is still used by the Native American tribes and has always been considered a stone of life, beauty and good fortune. As the stone of communication, it encourages enthusiasm while attracting prosperity and success.

Turquoise was called the "skystone" in Native American cultures where it was believed the blue ones represented Father Sky and the green ones represented Mother Earth.

TURQUOISE allows us to embrace the totality of who we are and what we have learned on our Earthwalk. All experience has value.
Grandfather Turquoise teaches self forgiveness and self acceptance and the ability to release useless regrets. Honor oneself as a creation and tool of the Divine. It physically oxygenates the blood and increases the amount of life force (prana or chi) in the physical body.

Gorgeous ring, looks better in person than in the picture. Very intricate wire work involved, & the turquoise stone is huge!
