Description

This antique brass effect key has attached to it a pair of dragonfly style wings which move and wiggle gently when the keys move for example if hung in a window or the path of airflow, making a 'magical' winged flying key! A great gift for fans of wizards and magic and anyone with a taste for the fantastical.

The key itself measures 7.25cm in length and 2.25cm at its widest point of the modern deco style square shaped handle, while the wings measure 12.5cm x 3.5 cm.

Handmade by us here at Bedlamite’s Boutique in the south-west of England, this unusual item will be supplied in a gift pouch.

We accept returns within 14 days of your receiving the goods. Customer pays return postage. The customer MUST contact us with a return request prior to returning the product including their preferred reimbursement (refund, replacement, exchange). WITHOUT THIS NOTIFICATION WE CANNOT ACCEPT THE RETURN AND REIMBURSEMENTS / EXCHANGES WILL NOT BE ISSUED. No replacement items, refunds etc. will be dispatched until the returned items have been received and checked by us.

If an item is found to be faulty, the cost of returning the item to us will of course be refunded alongside any reimbursement option chosen by the customer.

The customer is responsible for returning the item to us in the condition it was received and are also responsible for ensuring the postage rate chosen covers the value of the product sufficiently for their protection in the event of loss or damage. PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR PACKAGING AND POSTAGE TYPE CAREFULLY.

If you would like to exchange the unwanted item for another stock item, please let us know before returning the unwanted item so we can reserve the alternate item for you. If you choose to exchange the unwanted item for an exchange totalling higher than the original, you will be liable to pay the difference. Customer also pays postage for the alternative item.

These terms apply to stock items only. Please check the Custom Orders section for information regarding those.

We are unable to accept returns of pierced earrings for reasons of hygiene.

On occasion we take on custom work, but this is not always the case. We usually will enable the option on our shop to request a custom order when we are accepting custom work, but please feel free to contact us if you have a project you’d like us to work on, and we’ll let you know our current availability!
Prior to work beginning on a custom made item, a design needs to be finalised and approved by the customer and ourselves. How this design is reached is the choice of the customer -
a) The customer can submit artwork they may desire on their item for approval or adjustment by us thus initiating a design discussion.
b) The customer may have an online or face to face discussion with a member of our staff about a preliminary design. The customer will then need to contact us within 7 days of this discussion and a full and final design description and delivery timescale will be arrived at via email conversation and a full quote or estimate given (see below).
c)Either a) or b) or both having taken place, the customer may choose at an additional cost to have a Photoshopped design produced by us to serve as a representation of layout and colour choices only for their item as an accompaniment to the design agreed in writing.
Custom items quoted for will be paid for, in full, including postage costs required, by the customer, before work on them can begin. We can begin work on the order immediately following receipt of this payment.
All quotes offered and payments received as a result thereof apply to the project discussed and agreed upon. Any subsequent variations to the custom work following payment will be subject to additional charges.
If by the nature of the custom project you wish us to undertake we can only provide an estimate rather than a quote (i.e. that a percentage of payment agreed by both parties will be taken up front instead and that the final price is subject to change depending on the progression and / or circumstances of the project), this will be clearly stated when providing the estimate(s) and any documentation generated by the project. We can begin work on the order immediately following receipt of this percentage payment.
While custom orders can be cancelled within 14 days of the order being confirmed and paid for, the customer accepts that any work conducted or materials purchased to fulfil their custom order during that time will be debited from the total refund due to them.
We only accept responsibility for OUR WORK carried out in producing or modifying any item on the instruction of the customer’s design requirements. If a customer is in any doubt as to whether the product they wish to order is suitable for their requirements, please contact us prior to ordering with regard to those requirements. Failure to do so will excuse an item from being classed as ‘faulty’ for the purposes of reimbursement and will render all refund and returns conditions null and void.
If sizing is involved, custom made items will be made to the customers’ specified dimensions. It is the customers’ responsibility to ensure these measurements are correct when given, as errors cannot be rectified later and reimbursements will not be issued.
If a modification to an existing item produced by any manufacturer is required (including but not limited to books and jewellery), any work conducted by us is at the customer’s own risk and the customer accepts full responsibility for the durability or suitability of the existing product for the modifications desired.
Prices displayed on stock items are liable to change and are not representative of the price for a similar custom item. Customers are invited to contact us via email with their requirements to enable a better estimate.
We do not supply books or manuals. In the event that a customer requires a covered or modified book or manual, the published work itself is to be supplied by the customer, or incur an additional cost to the customer for us to purchase the work on their behalf.
We do not offer a returns service for custom made items because of the custom made nature of items sold unless an item is damaged or faulty upon delivery. In this instance, our standard returns terms apply.

In placing an order where any artwork is required, you as the customer retain all liability for the commissioned work, and any and all responsibility to seek copyright approval remains with you.
All images shown as available options or used in prior creations have been supplied to us by previous customers under the proviso they are not copyright protected. If you believe we are unwittingly displaying an image that belongs to you without your consent, please let us know and we can work together to resolve the issue.
If you require a specific orientation for the design on an item, you must contact us prior to placing an order; this may qualify the item as a custom order, may be charged differently to similar items held in stock and may be subject to additional factors as detailed under the ‘Custom Orders’ terms and conditions.
Any and all items produced as stock or as custom orders will be photographed and these images may be used by us without discretion for publication, promotion or however we see fit.

On occasion, the length of a chain may be a little longer than listed, a key’s teeth a little wonky, an edge not quite straight or an item with a curve the camera didn’t pick up.

On products supplied with an embossed image, the design may be embossed in a slightly different orientation and/or with slightly less definition than that shown in the image due to the fact that our items are embossed by hand with embossing plates also made by hand. Non-standardised quirks and individual variations in details characterise the charm and nature of handmade items.
