Description

NOTE: Please contact me prior to payment so that actual shipping costs can be determined in advance. Because costs vary with package size, weight, and destination I have not attached any shipping cost to my items in advance. Estimated cost is typically between $20.00 and $30.00 as they are well packed to arrive undamaged but I prefer to establish an actual cost rather than a flat fee. Larger pieces requiring oversize packaging can run as high as $75.00 to ship because of special handling requirements.

This "interior decor piece" was created by combining three pieces of glass and one of ceramic with a little extra touch in the center. The structure is very simplistic but effective in complimenting features of all the pieces. The back piece is a decorative square bowl married with a ruffled bowl, a crimped bowl and a juice glass. The center is a standard drawer pull that is threaded on, not glued. It can be replaced if you prefer something different or if it becomes worn over time. My opinion, as always, is this piece deserves to hang inside your home in a prominent location for all to see and it is guaranteed to be a conversation starter and eye catcher. Do you think I am a bit biased? I am. It is currently hanging proudly in my studio waiting for you to make it your own.

Should any of you view this piece and desire one similar but the color combination is not in keeping with your home color palette or you would like to see something which hangs the opposite direction please contact me. These pieces do not come available very often in the square shape but we would be happy to try and find a color combination you would enjoy. I would also be happy to discuss size, color, composition, etc. and where you wish to display your purchase. I have inventory as large as 22" in diameter and others down to 2-1/2" and 3" in glass and ceramic. Got an idea? Got some pieces of your own not in use or displayed. Let's see if I can create a custom piece for your enjoyment.

“What sets my work apart from the others?” “Why buy mine?”

The #1 benefit is my mechanical connection and the ability to repair rather than retire your purchase. When pieces are epoxied together they CANNOT effectively be repaired or pieces replaced if they sustain damage.

Accidents do happen and my creations are an investment intended to stimulate your visual and mental processes for as long as you choose to enjoy them.

The #2 benefit is that I inventory multiples of most pieces when they are available, but cannot guarantee I will have an exact duplicate for each and every piece of ceramic or glass. If you buy from me and one or more pieces are severely damaged, chances are I can repair your purchase at a reasonable cost rather than have you glue it back together or throw your treasured investment in the trash.

The #3 benefit is my creations are handcrafted and absolutely one-of-a-kind with components carefully chosen to enhance the character and beauty each was given when manufactured. No paint or epoxied bangles are used to “improve” their look. They stand on their own merit.

NOTE: These glass and ceramic items are used and may have lovingly incurred some scratches or nicks under prior ownership. Do to the nature of the crafting process, not every hole is precisely centered, purchased components vary in coloration, etc. Clear silicon is used between pieces that do not sit solidly against each other due to characteristics of manufacture and clear polycarbonate spacers are used where surface contact is small such as around recesses in some bottoms. This assures each assembly is tight and does not risk cracking when tightened. This creations has a heavy-duty hanger attached to the back and should hang flush to any surface.

Recommendations for care and options for displaying your interior purchase are included with every item shipped upon request.

Again, I encourage you to contact me if you have an idea or have some glassware or ceramic ware that has not seen the light of day for some time and you would like to enjoy it in another capacity. Commissions and custom requests for other combinations, colors, designs are always welcome. We will do our best to accommodate you if we can.

I also work to create other forms of art for the home interior using many of these same materials. This is one and I expect to add others as they are developed.

One last note and most important benefit:

**5% of all sales are donated to the American Cancer Society in honor of my mother and her sister.

Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
Terms of payment are purchase price due in full within seven calendar days. After seven days I will consider the “contract” void and will offer the item once again unless contacted with an explanation of the delay and a firm payment date. I currently accept credit/debit cards, Etsy gift cards, Paypal, and Postal money orders.

Returns & exchanges

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase when it arrives, contact me right away and I will be happy to work out an arrangement that both can live with. Please do not contact Etsy or write a bad review before you contact me. Do me the courtesy of allowing me to insure your satisfaction. I am confident we can resolve any issues.

I do accept returns for items in the original packaging within ten working days. When you receive your package, open the box carefully, and unpack your purchase. If there is any question about whether you will keep it, do not throw any packaging away. I will happily refund your full purchase price if returned in the original packaging and condition. I have had too many bad experiences with others packing fragile items using foam peanuts or insufficient material to keep the contents in place while the boxes are “thrown” around during loading and unloading of trucks and planes.

Shipping policies

I ship only to the lower 48 states at this time and will ship your purchase within 3 working days of receipt of your full payment. The following are general estimates and do not reflect actual shipping cost. Contact me prior to payment so that I can provide actual cost. That will be better for both of us in the long term.

Forever flowers are approximately $20.00 to $30.00 to ship, which covers all packaging materials and shipping. Bird feeders are approximately $20.00 to $35.00 depending on size, which covers all packaging materials and shipping as they do require a higher level of protection against damage. Interior wall pieces have the largest variation. Some pieces are larger than 15" in diameter which requires oversize packaging, extra padding and special handling. These could range from $25.00 to $75.00 which covers all materials as well. Whimsy items vary depending on type and quantity so check with me prior to purchase. I use USPS and FedEx ground for my creations.

Contact me before purchase for shipping and handling of all vintage items as zone, size, and weight effect cost. If you purchase multiple items we can combine shipping if there is a cost benefit for you. I use USPS for those items.

All shipments are insured and should you receive a damaged shipment notify me immediately, including pictures of any damage to the container as well as the contents. If you wish Priority or other expedited delivery please specify that when you contact so we can provide you the best options.

Please note, local pick ups are free or delivery within a 30 mile radius for a minimal charge can also be arranged in advance of purchase.

Additional policies

I remind you again that these are lovingly used items that I have carefully inspected for damage. You can expect that glass items with sharp, pointed edges may have small chips missing, scratches, mold lines, etc. Ceramic ware may exhibit wear to gilt trim or graphics, scratches, and a variety of kiln related issues such as pimples in the glaze, contaminates in the base material, racking marks, and transfers of gilt or color from other items contacted prior to final glazing. I make every effort to “weed” out anything that has sustained damage visible to the unaided eye, exhibits other than normal wear or “defects” not related to the manufacturing process. (i.e. rough handling) Any such “defects” will be disclosed to the best of my knowledge in my description of the item. I do not knowing use any materials with damage or defects that are other than part of the normal manufacturing process or typical usage. Because these are handmade items some holes may not be fully centered, there may be some minor chipping around drilled holes, etc. I am very picky so if it does not look attractive to me I will not put it in my store until I am satisfied. If that means making a new piece or two then that is what is done.
