Many of the instructors who have been our customers, suggested that we come up with a comfortable and easy-to use small loom. Something that would be easy to travel with when commuting and taking on family trips. It would also be a great loom to use with children, as well as for the advanced weaver who would like a pallet to try out a pattern, before putting it on their large loom.

The "Minnow" was our inspiration and has been received well so far.
It measures 11 inches overall and 6 inches wide.
The weaving area is a nice 8 1/2 inches by 6 inches.
A very comfortable "waist" is cut in the center of the loom so you can hold it easily with one hand, or set it comfortably on the top of a table.
Made of Northeastern Cherry and Walnut.
A light hand rubbed oil finish applied.
Each loom comes with an 8 inch wooden shed needle .
1/8th inch tooth width and 1/8th inch space between the tooth, giving you spacing for the warp of 1/4 inch, or 4 epi. Easy to double warp too!
As always with us, FREE SHIPPING !.

Also! Our book, "The Beginner's Guide To Tapestry Weaving on Lost Pond Looms" would be a great companion. Sells for $23.95.

Really nice loom. I had only heard great things about lostpond looms, so I was surprised when the wood was only rough sanded and finished. I did a quick fine sanding and wood wax finish and she is beautiful. I will be using this for sampling and it’s just the right size. The notches are set at 4dpi so I just doubled the wraps and am working in 8. Dpi now. Took 20 days for shipping, that was the only bad thing. All in all well worth the price even after I had to do a little finish work. I am a craftsman and crafter myself and really appreciate home crafted items.

Quality crafted little loom. I put some Howard Feed N Wax on mine with a little lanolin to bring out the natural finish. It's been great for sampling which was exactly why I bought it...my weaving sketchbook.

Very nice loom! It's very sturdy and well made. I love the shape, it's easy to hold in one hand, plus it's visually pleasing. I had to lightly sand down in between a few notches, so I was glad I had some fine sandpaper handy. I used Daddy Van's All Natural Beeswax & Lavender Sweet Orange Oil Furniture Polish on the entire loom and it really brought out the lovely wood grain. I highly recommend this loom!

This is a sweet, easy to warp little loom. It arrived this afternoon. I had it ready to go in about twenty minutes and worked a few inches in no time. The only negative is my particular loom arrived a bit rough to the touch and the weaving needle catches on the yarn. I’ll sand them a bit after I finish my first project. I don’t think that is usually the case. So, I wouldn’t consider it a deal breaker. It’s going to be great for using up left over yarns too pretty to throw away. Everyone’s getting mug mats for Christmas!
