An unusual 108-year-old map illustrating the divisions of standard time into Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern, and "Intercolonial", as proposed in the United States in the late 19th century. ("Intercolonial" time, the fifth zone, is now known as Atlantic time in Canada.)

The map is blank on the back, is in very good condition, and would look gorgeous framed as is or with a mat.

Please note that I have thousands of affordable antique maps. They are well-priced, considering their rarity and historical value. If there is a particular map you are looking for, let me know and I will put it up on this site and reserve it for you for five days. You are under no obligation to buy it. I will simply remove the "reserve sign" if you do not wish to purchase it.

This an original map, not a reproduction! Bananastrudel sells only originals.

The map will be sent to you in an acid-free sleeve with sturdy backing.

Size of map: approx. 15.25" x 10.75"
