Apple bough watercolor painting as a notecard to print out. I painted from my photo of a loaded apple bough arcing across the sky at a local apple orchard, during the height of apple picking season, (a few years back). We work from it every year in the art class I teach. Class draws as many variations of the reference photo as there are varieties of apples and more. Perhaps you know what kind of apple this is. I have forgotten - Empire, Macoun? People here in Maine like Cortlands - good for pies they say.
I call this style the 'direct painting' method, as it is done without an underdrawing.
This vignette image is about 4.5 x 3.5 in. on the sheet. My insignia, logo, and credit is on the back of the card.
You can print out on lightweight paper, 8.5 x 11 in., to fold into a single frenchfold, (quarterfold), notecard. Or, print on card stock and trim to a half sheet. You can probably even print it twice on the same sheet, and cut the sheet in half. It fits an A2 invitation envelope and 5.5 Baronial, both are 4 3/8 x 5 3/4 in.
