Are you an avid homemaker like I am? Does it make your heart do a funny little jump whenever you can bring something in that you have grown in your garden? I love to pick berries and make jams and condiments. There´s nothing more satisfying than a dish that includes something homegrown!

This pattern features some of my favorite things like a jam jar, strawberry, berry picking basket, bottle and a slice of melon. It is a very versatile pattern - depending on your fabric and color choices the jam jars can hold whatever you can think of and the bottle can become a milk/juice/cocoa bottle, the strawberry can quickly become a radish or turnip, the typical blue berry basket can easily be turned into a wooden mushroom picking basket, the melon slice can be a red watermelon, yellow honeydew melon...the possibilities are endless!

***

This pattern is suitable for people with an intermediate experience of foundation and English paper piecing, but I absolutely want to encourage advanced beginners to give it a try, too!

Easy to make, she was prompt in sending a note to make sure I knew how to use the pattern. The fox is adorable, and I love it. Used the pattern to make quilt tags :)
