I designed this shirt to be your go-to shirt pattern. It is semi fitted to show off your curves without being so tight that it shows the lumps and bumps. The V and Scoop Neck options allow for different levels of modesty, layering, and face framing. The pattern includes a bunch of options to create a closet full of shirts, and there are plenty of ways to play with it beyond all the options in the instructions too!!! If you were going to a deserted island with your sewing machine, a pile of fabric and only 1 top pattern - this is the one you should take! Hahahah, ok but really, let's look at your options.

• Fit: Semi Fitted - somewhere between potato sack and skin tight
• Sleeves: short, 3/4, and long
• optional sleeve tabs for all three lengths
• Narrow henley, faux henley, or plain neck band
• Straight hem in regular length, petite length, and tunic length

Absolutely amazing pattern. I love how this dress looks good on any body type. I made this for my Christmas dress and it came together like butter! Even the zipper was easy. The pattern is extremely well written and easy to follow along. I have a different sized top than bottom and Suzanne even covered how to adjust the dress to tailor to you...one of my favorite self care sewing projects.

Let me start by saying I have not started sewing this pattern yet. But I have printed it, taped it and cut to my size. So far just with the print part I felt like I was wasting a lot of paper 😬. I have printed patterns that you just butt the edges together, but this one you have to line up boxes. I ended up cutting around the boxes first to be able to tape easily and that's when I saw the pile of paper I wasted. Second, I have read and re-read the directions a couple of times and they still don't make sense to me on certain steps. I wish there was a video or better explanation for each step. For example: there is a pattern piece for a strap, but it's almost a rectangle shape (the size of my hand) and I don't see anywhere in the directions where it goes. I hope this helps! I still plan on making it but maybe my way.
