Description

My bug-eyed, bowlingball-head Boston Terrier Frankenstein turns 12 years old on October 21st, 2015! I've drawn him a lot over the years, but this is his first proper portrait. All proceeds from the sales of this new 8" x 10" signed print series on Epson Ultra Premium Matte presentation paper go towards paying off the remainder of Frank's $8,000 spinal surgery vet bills. He recovered well and this little grey-faced ghoul is better than ever these days!

I've donated many originals and art prints to dog rescue groups and benefit shows, and in 2006 I started fundraising programs with http://www.bostonbuddies.org and http://www.frenchbulldogrescue.org. For each group, I created a series of four 14" x 11" paintings showing dogs running through the seasons; the background of each painting lines up with the others to create the illusion of one big panorama, though the background foliage changes in each according to season. Four times a year I sent one of the first 10 signed-and-numbered art prints from the series to generous donors who pledged $100 or more to either rescue group. These prints raised $8,000 for the rescue groups, and open edition prints of the images are for sale here in my Etsy shop.

In 2009 I donated art to Puppymill Awareness Day, started a new "Seasons" series for FBRN, and in the future I hope to start similar programs with Pug Rescue and the ASPCA.

*All buyers agree that my art is for private use only and will not be reproduced or used commercially in any way whatsoever. I retain all copyrights to my artwork.

USPS Priority Shipping with insurance is included for domestic orders, and First Class shipping to Canada and Mexico. If you're in a different country and would like to add insurance on this purchase, just contact me.
