Inspired by a children's book character...

This mask is approximately 11" wide and about 7" long and tall. No leather anything.

PLAY LONGER: I have kept these masks very adjustable in hopes that anyone could forget that they are wearing them. I figure no one wants to wear an uncomfortable mask! We also build these to last using non-toxic preserved materials and archival glues and wiring larger items directly to the mask when needed.

This is a LIGHTWEIGHT Mask (about 3 ounces). It is made with a strong and rigid paper mache base which provides a comfortable fit to various face shapes. It has an adjustable and strong cross grained ribbon ties but if you rather have stretchable ELASTIC BAND instead, just mention it in your order and I'll customize it for you. (If you are going to display the mask as a piece on the wall, I recommend choosing ribbons as they are easier to hide or beautiful simply hanging down. If you plan on playing wildly, I recommend the elastic.) Did I mention that it's LINED WITH VELVET to rest comfortably against your skin and yet allow some breath-ability too.

CARE: These masks are not only made to be durable and worn many times but also to be kept to display afterwards. With simple care they can last many many years. Care would include DUSTING (compressed air cleaners or dry soft cloths work best) and (like many art pieces) keeping your mask out of direct sunlight for long periods to prevent fading and damage from UV rays and temperature fluctuations. All mosses on my masks are already preserved and other natural items are preserved with non-toxic matte sealant.

***If you can't be good, be safe (and play at your own risk)! Masks may limit your peripheral vision so please get used to wearing a mask before being carefree!
