"Violent Winds Approach"

This extraordinary harpy necklace was made with an antique stamped brass button depicting the monster from Greek mythology that is half woman and half bird beside a crescent moon covered in a greek key design.

> Description: Antique harpy button necklace
> Button: Titled "A Harpy", circa 1880-1899
> Modern Setting: Nickel & lead free brass plated copper, pendant is 3/4" (Chain Length Guide below)
> Condition: Lovely! Charmingly weathered from over 100 years of age.

Interesting Fact: Harpies are the personification of violent winds and their name means "snatcher", as in a wind so strong it can snatch someone up and steal them away.
