This leaf lard quality was like none that I had ever seen before. It was so smooth and light. I made some homemade biscuits with some of it instead of using Crisco and they came out really well. And one of the main things that I loved was Non-GMO. I can't wait to make a pie crust. I also like the instructions enclosed that tells you how to store the leaf lard. And tips on making pie crusts.

I have now used this to make a crust for a tart and for cookies. Good Stuff! I had never used lard before, but it works perfectly in place of butter in the recipes that I used.
