This is a NEW LIMITED EDITION print that is part of a new series of photography I've been shooting while traveling around the country. I shot this image in rural South Dakota this past summer. Who knew these guys were so big? Up close they look like furry VW bugs. Well actually, I wasn't that close when I shot this because I know better, and I like all my body parts attached. But none the less, a fun day of shooting photos of one of America's biggest icons.

The print was overworked with a 19th century glass plate negative, and hand tinted in a light sepia using Photoshop. As with all of my work, it has a fabulous antique feel that must be seen in person to be truly appreciated. The image was printed onto heavyweight archival Epson Ultra Premium Matte paper using Ultrachrome archival inks, to last a lifetime.

The watermark will not appear on your print.
