Description

A classic piece of West German pottery, produced by Scheurich in the 1960s. This Bold design features a beautiful, rich chocolate brown glaze with a striking wavy streak of bright red running across it. An iconic piece of West German design! The kind of shape and glaze that Scheurich did best and this vase is a really nice, practical size for use or decoration in the home. Marked on the base ‘W. Germany 206-26’.

Dimensions:

Height – 25.5cm / 10”
Width: 11cm / 4.3”

This vase is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or damage of any kind. There are a few little marks and bubbles from the kiln as well as a few lumps of stray glaze on the base, but these do not affect the overall look of the vase. A really great example!
