Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
Paypal is my preferred method of payment. Australian customers can arrange offline payment via direct bank deposit. Just ask me for the bank account details.

I am happy to reserve any item valued at over $100. I require a 20% non-refundable deposit and full payment within 2 months. I am flexible as to the payment terms - you can pay small amounts weekly, or larger amounts monthly. We can discuss your needs at the time.

Returns & exchanges

I don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Returns and exchange details
Customer satisfaction is my primary focus. If the item you purchased does not match the description in the listing or is defective in any way other than any faults described in the listing, and you do not wish to keep it, I will refund your money upon the safe return of the item, and if it is in the same condition it was when I sent it to you.

Any items that you want to return for this reason must be notified to me within 7 days of receiving them. If you hold the item for any longer I assume that you have used and 'enjoyed' the item(s) and it is considered a case of 'change of mind', which I do not refund for.

I do not refund original or return shipping fees. Any refund due will not be paid until the item has been returned to me in a satisfactory condition, as it was when I shipped it to you.

In general, repairs in lieu of refund are not viable or practical, and my policy is to offer a full refund even if you think an item can be repaired. If you want to repair it, you need to keep it.

If an item is lost in the mail and I can replace it, I will do this rather than refund. If an item cannot be replaced I will either offer a refund or store credit.

Other than the above, all sales are final and if you change your mind or did not read the item description, I cannot offer a refund. I will readily and accurately answer any questions you have prior to purchase, so please make contact WITH me should you need clarification on any details.

I research the items I sell and where possible and practical verify any pertinent facts that might affect your purchase decision. I will never describe anything as antique or vintage if I know it is not so. If I have doubts about any item, I will either remove it from my store or not list it in the first place.

The photographs and the text constitute the full description of the item. Any information provided in Etsy convo adds to this body of information.

I have many years experience dealing in antique French and religious jewelry - I hope therefore that I or my trusted suppliers can discover the answers to any questions you might have about the item you are interested in, either before or after the purchase.

I will always present a detailed description in each listing to the best of my knowledge, and if any item has what might reasonably be deemed as flaws, marks or faults, I will describe them accurately. I am always happy to supply more photos or information if you feel you need it. Just send me a convo request and I'll be happy to oblige.

Do bear in mind that the majority of the items I sell are vintage or antique - some can be up to 400 years old. Normal wear and tear are to be expected, and indeed can be seen as a feature of an antique item.

Shipping policies

COSTS:
I use Australia Post to ship your package. They offer TWO ways to send items overseas: as a 'letter', or as a 'parcel'.

A letter is defined as 'documents in a standard envelope, or non-documents that will fit in a bubble envelope or CD mailer box no more than 2cm deep'. This is the cheapest way for me to send packages overseas, and typically costs around $6.50. I cannot put tracking on items sent as letters.

If something will not fit into the above dimensions (ie: most of what I sell) I need to send it as a parcel.

With parcels I have a few options but the most common are:

Economy Air - I use this for packages under $100 value as tracking is not offered with this service. To the USA this typically costs around $14. Typical transit time is 10+ days, depending on destination.

Standard Air Mail - I use this for packages valued $100 or more which offers tracking. This typically costs around $20 to the USA, but more or less to other international destinations. Typical transit time is 6+ days, depending on destination.

You can choose to upgrade to Express International Post if you want your parcel faster, say in under 1 week, but expect to pay around $50-60 for the privilege.

Attn: Canada/Mexico customers - sorry but due to a disproportionate level of missing parcels to these destinations all items must ship with tracking. Although it's a high starting price, you can add in as many items as you want for no extra cost.

The overriding factor in how I choose a shipping method is what is best for the item you have bought? ie: what ensures it will reach you intact, undamaged and that meets your expectations. Whilst I might be able to put a small glass locket into a bubble envelope, I do not trust the postal services to protect and love your item as much as I do, and I will therefore not risk its safety for the sake of saving $10. If in doubt, I will send something as a parcel to ensure that you get something you can enjoy and cherish for many years to come.

The item listing will state the shipping cost. If I have miscalculated and undercharged you, I will not ask for more money. If I have over charged you by more than $2, I will send you a refund. In this respect I will always act in the buyer's favour.

PACKING & SENDING:
Items are usually shipped in either a sturdy CD mailer box, bubble envelope or in a box with beanies or bubble wrap to ensure safe arrival to your door. I take great care with my packaging to make sure items are not damaged in transit.

All items ship from Brisbane Australia. All processing and shipping timings stated are business days. In Australia packages are only handled by the postal services Monday to Friday.

I go to the post office once a week, each Saturday. All orders placed by 8am on a Saturday (Brisbane time) will be shipped that week. Orders placed after that time will ship out the following Saturday. I will mark your order as 'shipped' once I am back from the post office.

URGENT ORDERS:
If you have an urgent need for your order please get in touch as there are options for expedited shipping to guarantee arrival to most parts of the world within one week.

Please do not leave it a few days after you have paid to tell me your order is urgent, as this restricts my ability to offer you the best and most satisfactory options. Use the 'message to seller' option when you order to tell me what you need, or choose the shipping upgrade offered in the listing.

Once I have packed your item and it has been posted I will send you a shipping notification through Etsy. Typical delivery times within Australia are up to one week, though Express Post often guarantees overnight delivery to most places.

To the UK/Europe & USA packages generally arrive within 10-14 days from when they are posted (not from when you pay). During the festive season, usually most of December, shipping can take longer due to high volumes that the postal services do not seem able to cope with.

Postage prices include careful packing and protection of your precious items. I reserve the right to apply a service fee in my shipping cost in cases where exceptional services are required, such as couriers or fragile items needing more care with packing. These packages require much more work than a standard package.

Shipping options applied to a listing are not negotiable. I only charge actual shipping costs, and more often than not I absorb a few dollars of the charge myself. I do not charge for packaging or gift wrap/cards but will happily wrap and tag a parcel if you want it as a gift for someone.

Customer is responsible to ensure items purchased from this store are allowed to be imported into the destination country. In cases where goods are confiscated by customs I hold no responsibility for loss of the customer.
