Description

**Please Note: This listing is for the CROCHET PATTERN to MAKE YOUR OWN Granny Square Baby Beanie, NOT for the actual product! Visit my EyeLoveKnots shop and use the search box to search for beanies, or send me a message for a custom order :) **

Last September (2014) I created a crochet pattern for a Newborn Granny Square Beanie with other sizes on my list to create. It was thanks to the request from a reader named Judy that I decided I would sit down this past weekend to revisit my Newborn Granny Square Beanie pattern and update it to include three baby sizes - newborn, 3-6 months and 6-12 months.

These are great hats to work up for donation to your local baby hospital :) Remember to use soft acrylic or cotton yarn that machine washes and dries well and weave your ends in really, really well!

Materials:
- Less than 125 yards of Worsted Weight Yarn - I used Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn in Soft Pink, Purple and Spun Sugar Stripes
- I9/5.5mm Crochet Hook
- Tapestry Needle - an 18" or 20" will work well for this!

Material Notes:
Yarn Alternatives: Red Heart's With Love. Due to allergies, I do not suggest wools for baby - soft acrylics and cotton only.

Time Spent:
I worked up the newborn size in just under 30 minutes, the 3-6 month size in just about 30 minutes and the 6-12 month size in just over 30 minutes.

Abbreviations:
SC - Single Crochet
DC - Double Crochet

*About Your Digital Purchase:

Payments

Secure options
  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
I accept Paypal.

Returns & exchanges

I do not offer refunds. Please be sure in what you are purchasing beforehand!
I do my very best to be as clear in current listings, and emails regarding custom orders so there is no confusion as to what you will be receiving.

I will refund a shipping overpayment if overpaid by more than 1.00.

For Coaster Purchases: IF you receive broken coasters/a broken coaster, please contact me right away with a picture.
PLEASE NOTE, I take care to wrap each individual coaster in bubble wrap so as to prevent breakage.

Should you receive an item that you are unhappy with, you may contact me with a request for shop credit (that you can use at a later time to purchase something else in my shop), or exchange. This is subject to my approval, and may be denied.

*Please note that each item in my shop (aside from craft supplies) is handmade by myself. I shop for the materials, prep and assemble them as necessary or crochet - sometimes spending hours of time and hard work - package, and ship all by myself. It is unfair for me to offer refunds.

No exchanges on earrings will be accepted for health reasons.

Additional policies

I welcome custom orders!

Please be sure in what you are purchasing beforehand! I do my very best in getting all the pertinent information prior to making an item. I will then make a swatch of your request and email you a photo for approval. If you are happy with it, I will then complete the item and get it ready for shipping. If you are unhappy with it, I will make adjustments at that time. You may choose to cancel your order up until this point, but not after.

I will also notify you during the custom requesting process of the estimated cost. If approved and you haven't purchased a listing yet, a custom listing will be created for you to purchase. If there is an overpayment, you will be refunded the difference.

I do my best to ship in a timely manner, but I will not ship without full payment. Please plan accordingly. Also, if needed before the expected shipping date noted on each listing, please contact me first to make sure that I can accommodate the request.

15% of every purchase is donated to the National Retinoblastoma Research and Support Foundation to aid in the medical advances and new discoveries in the fight against Retinoblastoma, blindness and other eye diseases. Feel free to contact me for more info.
