This smiling, toothy fish is a child of the 1960s, just like me, and I think I'm in love.

An "add" original (an association of California artists, designers and craftsman), it is based on a design by Morris R. Smith.

The fish is a collage made from thin, transparent paper that appears to have been lacquered. He is in a round, dark blue frame with an inner gold edging. There is no glass in the frame. The year 1964 is marked on the back of the frame along with other info about the artwork.

The fish collage is in good vintage condition. The paint on the frame has several small chips and the background is yellowing a bit.

I hung the fish in my kitchen to take photos and it was like I was on a ship looking out a porthole at the silliest creature ever. I really didn't want to take it down.

Measures 9" in width by 7.5" in length.
