The cherry and oliver pitter is in perfect shape- I believe it's new- but the real winner in this listing is the incredibly preserved box!
The front depicts a well dressed woman (wearing white and making cherry pies!?!) doing her cooking and baking with the help of this handy implement. The Zack Zack. The box measures 9" long and 2 3\/4" wide. The illustration shows just the pitter on the opposite sides with black and white checkerboard on the other two. The ends are also checkerboard and there is still the 50 cent price tag from Fredrick and Nelson's! The edges of the box show wear, and there is a small tear just below the woman's arm, as well as a tab torn off on one of the ends of the box. But I am amazed that this box is still around, and really it's quite the beauty. What a great decor piece, or use the pitter, and make some wonderful art with the ephemera of the box.

As always, I will only charge you the actual price of shipping, so if you combine purchases or I have over quoted, I will refund you the difference back to your paypal or RME account.
