Please request an RGA and get approval prior to returning the item. We don't accept returns on custom orders, discounted items, or items that have been received past our time line. Without and RGA number, the item will not be credited. We accept returns with a 20% restock charge if the items are returned to our shop in resalable condition. Your will be responsible the outbound and return freight charges for the product. The restock fee will increase when the item is damaged. We provide photos of the carton and damaged items, so you can file a freight claim with the carrier.

Stain color variations and the rustic wood characteristics are not eligible for returns,

We don't ship to International destinations. Our shipping profiles are developed for locations within the lower 48 states. Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii will need to adjusted to reflect the increased shipping expense to those locations.

If you need the package to be signed for, please add a Note to Seller when you check out of your cart. We will advise on the increased shipping charges and add that service for you.

But, a 2"x12" nominal shelf is actually 1 1/2" x 11 1/4" after drying, planing and sanding.
A 2"x10" is 1 1/2" x 9 1/4",
A 2"x8" is 1 1/2" x 7 1/4",
And a 2"x6" is 1 1/2" x 5 1/2".

That's the way the wood is produced from the wood mill.

The maximum depth that all southern US wood manufacturers make is 11 1/4".

Please verify that your shipping address is accurate prior to entering your order. We aren't responsible for delays in your order or cost incurred by shipping to the incorrect address, if you forwarded the wrong address to us. We will make every attempt to redirect your package, but many times we will be unsuccessful.

Items returned by the carrier from refused shipments will be assessed a 20% restock fee, plus outbound and return shipping costs, if the items are received undamaged. If the items have been damaged in shipment or opened and not properly repacked, the restock fee will be higher. The refund will be an in store credit.

Our solid pine wood is purchased from a sustainable mill. We recommend that you hand rub the wood conditioner of your choice as soon as you install your item. And re-apply the conditioner frequently to retain the satin finish, and to help eliminate warping of the rustic wood, especially if it is installed in a humid environment. Beeswax has been effective for me.

Rustic may have aggressive growth rings, wane, knots, some bowing and twisting, and an occasional crack. That is the desired look of this industrial product. Our white wash is a stain, not paint.

We don't try to make our shelves look distressed by hammering them with tools or chains or other DIY blog techniques. We can't make the boards look used with these techniques.

We furnish mounting screws with the purchase of our floating shelves. For the shelves up to 10" nominal, we furnish small drywall screws to attach the pipe supports into the wood studs. Over 10", we furnish longer drywall screws. We don't furnish drywall anchors as there are too many variables in mounting styles.

We gladly accept cancellations for 24 hours. After the 24 hour period, we will start production. If you have a special request after the 24 hour period, please reach out to us and we might be able to accommodate with a 20% cancellation fee.
