Description

*Please be aware, framed and unframed options are available*

This large scale print is none other than The Belafonte from Wes Anderson’s The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Faithfully recreated in pixel-perfect form, the boat features nearly everything seen in the masterful scene from The Life Aquatic in which Steve tells us about his boat, The Belafonte.

Acid-free archival quality paper.

Fun Facts:

-The tune of the song played during this scene is in fact taken from a reversed version of another soundtrack, that of Wes Anderson’s The Royal Tenenbaums.

-The cross section from the film, which this print is based on was 150 feet long and 40 feet high.

-The film is rumoured to have originated from a single image that Wes had in mind, that of the cross section of a boat.
